Shimano named title sponsor of Cyclocross

Shimano Canada, which has its head office in Peterborough, will be the title sponsor and Trek Canada and Wild Rock Outfitters the presenting sponsors for the 2018 Shimano Cyclocross National Championships being held in Nicholls Oval Park in Peterborough from Nov. 9 to 11.

Nicholls Oval was the host venue for criterium cycling races early in the 20th century.

Using the steep natural banks of the Otonabee River, cyclists will race on a 3 km circuit featuring asphalt and grass, challenging slopes and obstacles.
