The pioneer village near Keene will also host two nights of music. Both local music history and A Folk Song History of the Peterborough Region in Words & Music will be performed on Oct. 12 and Oct. 13.

Applefest, which starts at 10 a.m. and runs to 4 p.m. Sunday, is a tribute to apples. Attendees can tour the village on a horse-andwagon ride, observing the sights, smells, and tastes of Lang.
