First loss for Epping at Grand Slam of Curling

Peterborough’s John Epping suffered his first loss at the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling on Friday afternoon in Chatham-Kent.

Epping, now 2-1, fell +4 to Brad Gushue in the match play style event, the first in the 2018-19 Grand Slam series. Epping was to face Winnipeg’s Jason Gunnlaugson in the 8 p.m. draw. A score was not available at press time.
