Durham Lords sweep soccer double-header against Fleming Knights

The Durham Lords swept an OCAA soccer double-header from the Fleming Knights at the Fleming Sports Complex on Thursday night.

The Lords snapped the Knights women’s team’s two-game winning streak with a 4-1 victory. Alyssa Noonan scored the lone goal for Fleming while Michelle Kylie stopped 15 shots in the Knights net as Durham outshot them 19-5. Fleming slipped to 3-3-1.

In men’s action, Durham prevailed 5-0 dropping the Knights to 0-6-0 on the season. The men host the Seneca Sting at 6:15 p.m. Thursday while the women host the Loyalist Lancers at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
