New trails open at Ennismore park

- KACIE GARDINER

Members of the Ennismore Curling Club gathered together with Township of Selwyn Trails and Parks & Recreation Committee members on Sept. 21 to celebrate the completion of upgrades to the Ennismore Waterfront Park, located at 1053 Ennis Rd. in Ennismore. The park gained approximately one kilometer of accessible pathways leading from the

parking lot to the beach, pavilion and washrooms. There were also upgrades done to the Osprey nest and waterfront lookouts using locally grown and milled cedar. The $5,000 project was made possible by the Ennismore Curling Club’s Feb. 2018 Curl for a Cause Bonspiel, as well as donations by local contractors.
