Man threw knife at people

A 28-year-old city man of no fixed address faces charges after onlookers reported someone throwing a small collapsible knife toward pedestrians and traffic near Charlotte and Aylmer streets shortly after 4 p.m. Friday. Officers arrested a man who was carrying a knife and walking north on Bethune Street at Simcoe Street, police said. No one was hurt.

Christopher Lee Brock was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with a recognizance and failing to comply with a probation order.
