St. Teresa wins city police police dog name contest

The kindergart­en class is Room 121 at St. Teresa School won a city police contest by correctly guessing the name of Const. Kyle Adey’s new canine partner, Chase, city police announced Monday morning.

Two dozen schools representi­ng 37 kindergart­en classes served by city police took part in the contest launched last week.

All classes that correctly guessed the name were entered into a draw held Monday, drawn by police Chief Scott Gilbert.

The winning class will get a meet-and-greet with Adey and Chase when they finish training.
