Trent Excalibur women win pair in lacrosse action

The Trent Excalibur women’s lacrosse team swept a pair of OUA games on the weekend beating the University of Toronto Blues 10-6 and UOIT Ridgebacks 14-2.

Kristin Fernandes played well in net to secure the win against U of T. Leah Michel scored four goals and an assist, Victoria Clark and Mackenzie Robinson two goals and an assist while Madison Campbell and Kristin Mann also scored.

Against UOIT, Emily VanDamme got the win in goal. Michel had five goals, Campbell three goals, Morgan McEachen two goals, Clark a goal and two assists while Hayley Rekker, Robinson and Mann also scored.

Trent will host the OUA championships from Oct. 12 to 14 at Justin Chiu Stadium.
