Minor Peewee AA Petes win season opener

The Peterborough FCI Windows Minor Peewee AA Petes scored early and often as they opened the Lakeshore League regular season with an 11-3 win over the Oshawa Generals Friday at the Kinsmen Civic Centre.

Griff Coupland scored a hat trick, Emerson Taylor, Nolan Mason and Owen Fitzgerald two goals with singles to Dawson Corfe and Owen Leahy. Leahy had four assists, Ethan Lacey and Fitzgerald three, Travis Maxwell two with singles to Mike Hancock, Holden Rutherford, Corfe and Taylor.
