COLOUR CHANGE NOW AT 30% IN PETERBOROUGH AREA
Fiery red foliage from a maple tree brightens up a cloudy day as a man and his dog take a stroll during 10 C weather Tuesday below the Peterborough Lift Lock. According to Ontario Parks, the leaf colour change is at 30 per cent colour at both the Mark S. Burnham park in Peterborough and Petroglyphs north of Peterborough and at 40 per cent colour change at Silent Lake near Apsley and Balsam Lake near Coboconk. Warm and wet weather is forecast for the area heading into the Thanksgiving long weekend.
