Four Petes in NHL rankings

Four Peterborough Petes are on the NHL Central Scouting Service preliminary players to watch list released Wednesday. Erik Cermak, Pavel Gogolev, Hunter Jones and Nick Robertson were named to the list. Robertson, a 5’8”, 156-pound centre from Michigan, earned a B rating suggesting he could be a possible second- or third-round choice in the 2019 NHL draft. Cermak, a 5’11”, 154-pound left winger from the Czech Republic, Gogolev, a 6’0”, 178-pound right winger born in Russia, and

Jones, a 6’4”, 194-pound goalie, earned C ratings, which indicates they are potential fourth to sixth round selections.

The Petes host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 7:05 p.m. Thursday at the PMC.
