Knights blank Lancers

The Fleming Knights women’s soccer team defeated the Loyalist Lancers 2-0 on a cold rainy Tuesday night at the Fleming Sports Complex.

The Knights, who improved to 4-3-1 in OCAA play, brought their A game and took the lead early in the first half on Amy Frotten’s goal. Zoe Harrington added an insurance goal in the game’s dying minutes.

With starting goalie Michelle Kylie unable to play Giana Koskinas stepped into the net stopping four shots for the shutout.

The Knights host the Seneca Sting on Thursday at 6 p.m. with the men playing at 8:15 p.m.
