Domestic assault charges for local woman

Domestic assault charges were laid against a local woman after incidents took place in the summer.

A woman allegedly assaulted a man. The two had been in a relationship.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of domestic assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

She was released and is to appear in court Oct. 25.

Her name was not released by city police to protect the man’s identity.
