Three dead after Saturday crash in Scugog

Two Goodwood residents and a Port Perry woman are dead following a twovehicle collision in Scugog early Saturday morning.

In a video posted to Twitter, OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt said an SUV was travelling northbound on Hwy. 7/12 at the 4th line Saturday when it crossed into the southbound lanes, colliding with a car. Police got the call about 1:15 a.m.

The male driver of the car, a 59-year-old man from Goodwood, a 55-year-old female passenger from Goodwood and a 44-yearold female passenger from Port Perry, were all pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV, a 68-year-old man from Greenbank, is listed in serious condition.
