EXCALIBUR PICK UP WIN, TIE

The Trent Excalibur women’s lacrosse team picked up a win and a tie in OUA action on the weekend.

The Excalibur pounded the York Lions

21-7 led by Madison Campbell’s four goals. Leah Michel scored three goals and adding three assists and Mackenzie Robinson added a hat trick. Hayley Rekker scored two goals and two assists while Morgan McEachern, Donna Ward and Lauren Mandalfino scored two goals each with singles to Victoria Clark, Cassidy Assinck and Susan Tung.

Trent tied the first place Queen’s Gaels 13-13 scoring with Clark scoring with two seconds left in regulation time. Michel and Ward had three goals each while Shaun Kumka and Clark had two goals and an assist, McEachern two goals, Robinson a goal and two assists. Campbell had two assists.
