We deserve better from our MP

Our MP, Maryam Monsef, told the Peterorough Examiner that she couldn't respond to constituents' concerns about the Kinder Morgan pipeline for almost four months because the pipeline project was in the courts. This, even though her government has continued to discuss the pipeline non-stop all year long. She also said that cancelling the pipeline would cost Canada tens of thousands of jobs. There is no evidence even from Kinder Morgan that this is true. She refused to address environmental concerns.

Ms. Monsef's misrepresentation of facts and refusal to address her constituents' concerns in a timely manner, if at all, is unfortunately typical of her work for our riding. I think we deserve better.
