Napanee downs Lakefield 4-1

The Lakefield Hendren Funeral Home Chiefs’ seven-game winning streak was napped in a battle of PJHL Division leaders on Friday night. The Tod Division-leading Napanee Raiders beat the Orr Division-leading Chiefs 4-1 in Napanee. Dalton Smith scored the lone goal for the Chiefs who dipped to 7-2-0 while Napanee improved to 7-1-1. Cameron Harris and Evan Foley had a goal and assist each for Napanee while Ryan Casselman and Cullen Hinds also scored. Dayton Kent picked up an assist. The Chiefs’ next action is at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday when they host the second-place North Kawartha Knights at the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre.
