Assault with baseball bats

Two teenagers were arrested Sunday after a person was attacked and beaten with baseball bats.

Police say the attack happened at a local home at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The people involved know one another.

One person was taken to hospital by paramedics while police looked for the suspects, later locating two teens walking near Towerhill Road and Hilliard Street. Chase Lane, 18, of Hilliard Street, was charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
