Pumpkin latte: Perfect for these cool autumn days

I love a warm drink in the afternoon during cooler months. But lately I’ve been using warm beverages, like this Pumpkin Latte, to help me get my caffeine consumption down. I don’t want to eliminate coffee altogether, I just find that my second cup is never as good as the first, and it tends to give me a little bit of indigestion. As a holistic nutritionist, I know that indigestion is a sign that something needs to change.

Have you ever worked with a nutritionist before? Nutritionists take a look at your lifestyle, including diet, sleep, exercise, and more to help you find some balance or alleviate some symptoms that have been causing discomfort in your life. You can email me maggiesavage@me.com if you’d like more information on the services I provide. My goal is to help you listen to your body’s signs, and then do something about them. The end goal is clarity and of course feeling much better in your body.

This Pumpkin Latte is nutritionist-approved, but make sure you use pumpkin puree, as it is 100 per cent pure pumpkin. Pumpkin pie filling is already flavored and loaded with unnecessary sugar. If you don’t like dates, then try a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup (chances are you won’t even taste the dates in the latte).
