The short-staffed Lakefield Chiefs with only 14 skaters defeated the Port Perry Mojacks 4-3 in overtime in PJHL action Sunday afternoon.

James Allen’s second goal of the game was the winner. Jacob McPhee scored his first as a Chief and Dalton Smith also scored. Tarren Jank and Carson Hartwick had two assists, singles went to William Keith, Zac Treen and Cole Robbins in his first game back after a seven game suspension. Andrew Barwinski made 27 saves for his fifth win on the season.

Next action for Lakefield is Tuesday when they host the Georgina Ice at 7:25 p.m.
