Douro Peewee AE Dukes win silver at tourney

The Douro Waste Connections Peewee AE Dukes reached the final of the Jack Tolhurst Memorial Tournament in St. George, Ont. over the weekend.

The Peewee AE Dukes opened the tourney with a 5-0 shutout win over the Almaguin Ice Dogs. They beat the Mariposa Lightning 4-1 in their second game. Huntsville blanked the Dukes in game three 3-0 but the Dukes still finished first in their division. They eliminated Strathroy with a 4-0 win in the semifinals and then lost to Collingwood 5-1.
