Three drivers facing marijuana charges

Three drivers are facing marijuana charges following stops by Peterborou­gh County OPP over the past week.

On Saturday at about 2 p.m. a vehicle was stopped by OPP on County Road 507 in Trent Lakes Township. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed that he had cannabis in the vehicle, police said.

Sean Holley, 36, of Port Hope, was charged with driving with cannabis readily available.

On Saturday at about 7 p.m. OPP responded to a traffic complaint on County Road 38 in AsphodelNo­rwood Township.

David Coulter, 43, of Trent Hills, was charged with driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, impaired driving, driving with an open container of liquor and driving with cannabis readily available.

OPP also responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 28 in Selwyn Township at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday. While speaking with the female driver, the officer observed she had cannabis in the vehicle, police said.

Jill Price, 36, of Hastings Highlands, was charged with driving with cannabis readily available.
