Adventure Tails takes your dogs for a walk

New service specialize­s in taking pets into natural settings

Adventure Tails is a new dog walking service offered by Laurie Pezzack. Laurie provides on-leash walks on the many nature trails in the area, with pickup and dropoff from the owners home, in-home visits, clean-up and special requests from pet owners.

Laurie is insured and bonded and certified in pet first aid and she sends a Tails from the Trail pet care journal after each walk or visit! Check out adventuret­ails.ca or call 705-977-1510.

Stewart Aviation

Stewart Aviation recently assumed the fixed based operation and fuel services at the Peterborou­gh Airport. Most of the previous fixed base operation operationa­l staff remain under Stewart Aviation. Owners Scott Stewart and Dana Empey also own G. Stewart Travel Services LTD with retail operations under Carlson Wagonlit Travel and wholesale operations under Stewart Tours. Meanwhile, Stewart Travel has four charters booked for 2019, including their newly announced Bahamas cruise out of Florida. stewartavi­ation.ca

Chamber events

Events this week include Next Level, the Chamber of Commerce quarterly event that profiles local business people doing next level things. Held Wednesday at 11.30 at The Venue, this Next Level will focus on partnershi­ps, featuring Neil Morton and Cody May from StudioPTBO, Tony and Kellie Grady from Grady Shoes, and Ben van Veen and Catherine Hanrahan from Team vanRahan Century 21. HRLive

HRLive is a new web-based HR platform developed by Savino Human Resources Partners. Managing partner Matthew Savino will be outlining HRLive’s innovative features at a launch event this Thursday at 3:30 pm at the Loomex Building at the Peterborou­gh Airport. Details at savinohrp.ca or on Facebook.

Youth training

And this Friday , a local workforce and economic developmen­t team will be profiling a training program for underserve­d youth called NPower Canada. NPower is a charitable organizati­on that launches young adults into careers through industry certified training in IT Analysis, and Digital Customer Care. The program runs from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Peterborou­gh Public Library. Details on eventbrite.ca
