MALT PLANT STACK COMES DOWN
A city landmark slowly receded from the skyline as demolition crews used a wrecking ball to break down the brick stack at the former United Canadian Malt plant at Lansdowne and Park streets on Monday. The building may soon be converted into apartments as part of a new development that would include new buildings, including commercial space. The factory ceased operations in 2015.
