Charges laid in laundry break-in

A 36-year-old George Street South man has been charged in connection with a break-in at a McDonnel Street laundry facility in late September.

A planter was stolen when a male suspect broke into the business at about 1:25 a.m. on Sept. 28, city police said.

An arrest was made at the city police station on Saturday Michael Angelo Briceno was charged with break and enter and released for a Nov. 29 court appearance.
