Algonquin Thunder sweep Fleming Knights

The Fleming Knights men’s volleyball team slipped to 0-3 in OCAA action with a 3-0 loss to the Algonquin Thunder on Sunday afternoon at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.

The Knights lost by scores of 25-21, 31-29, 25-19. Dion PearsonLaviolette and Spencer Bieri led Fleming with 10 kills each. Algonquin also swept Fleming in women’s action 25-23, 25-20, 25-19. Sarah Heffernan had five kills for Fleming and Jessica Daze four kills and three aces.
