Win, loss for Peterborough Minor Midget AAA Petes
The Peterborough Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget AAA Petes split their last two regular season games.
On Sunday the Minor Midget Petes were edged 3-2 by the Kingston Jr. Frontenacs in Kingston. Clayton Shaughnessy and J.R. Avon scored for Peterborough on assists from Jake Hackett, Tyler Savard and Matthew Campbell.
On Tuesday the Minor Midget Petes played a strong game against the York-Simcoe Express, beating them 3-1. Avon had two goals, with assists from Mason Tardiff and Savard. Evan Brault scored on a breakaway. Ryan Bray had a solid game in net.
