Few spots remain for fall, winter Zoo Crew
There are still a few spots remaining in the fall and winter
Zoo Crew parent and tot education program at Riverview Park, but you need to register by Wednesday.
The Friday and Saturday sessions are fully booked; the remaining spots are for the Wednesday program that runs from 9:30 until 11 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the month, from November through April.
This interactive and experiential program, developed for preschool children ages 3-5, typically includes story time, colouring, fun activities, crafts and up-close encounters with some of the zoo’s animals. Each session has a different focus, including the themes of protection, warmth, scales, swimmers, feathers, and little keepers.
The program is held at the
Park and Zoo's Rotary Education Centre, located just inside the main gates of the zoo, as well as in and around the Zoo.
The cost is $65 per child, and
$25 for a second child in the same family.
For further information and a printable registration form visit peterboroughutilities.ca/…/ Education_Programs. Drop your form and payment off at the Park and Zoo Office, located across from the camels, on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday is the deadline for submission.
