Knights still searching for win

The Fleming Knights volleyball teams are still in search of their first OCAA victories of the season.

The Knights men fell 3-0 to the Canadore Panthers at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre on Sunday. Canadore won by scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-23. Top Fleming scorer was Spencer

Bieri with four kills while Daniel Williams had two kills and an ace.

The Panthers swept the Knights in women’s play 25-13, 25-18 and 25-21. Sara Grosse and Sarah Heffernan had two kills and an ace each for Fleming.

In OUA volleyball action, the host Nipissing Lakers defeated the Trent Excalibur in North Bay on Saturday. The Lakers beat the Excalibur men 3-1 and swept the women 3-0.
