No playoffs for Epping

Two weeks after picking up his fourth career Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling title Peterborough native John Epping failed to reach the playoff round of the latest GSOC event in Thunder Bay.

Epping finished with a 1-3 record at the Tour Challenge. He won his opening game against Scotland’s Ross Paterson (8-5) before falling in consecutive games to

St. John’s Brad Gushue (8-10), the USA’s Rich Ruohonen (4-5) and Manitoba’s Jason Gunnlaugson (1-5).
