ROTARY PAUL HARRIS FELLOWSHIPS
The Rotary Club of Peterborough-Kawartha honoured five members with Paul Harris Fellowships during a dinner Thursday night. Awards went to Drew Monkman (community service), Mitch Champagne (new generations), David Kennedy (vocational services), Mark Cameron (international service) and Dawn Straka (club service). The highest recognition given by Rotary is named for Paul Percy Harris, who founded Rotary International in 1905. The honour is given to Rotarians and non-Rotarians who exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service above Self,” defined as community, international, vocational, youth and club.
