Man accused of following ex in car

City police arrested a local man after he went to police headquarters Nov. 7.

It’s alleged that he followed a former girlfriend in his vehicle, stopped her and damaged her car on two days in October. The man is bound by a court order banning contact with her.

He was released after being charged with mischief, criminal harassment and failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. He’ll appear in court Nov. 29.

His name was not released by city police to protect the woman’s identity.
