Two charged after girl intentionally struck by vehicle in Bobcaygeon
BOBCAYGEON — City of Kawartha Lakes OPP are continuing to investigate after a teen girl was hit by a vehicle in Bobcaygeon, in an incident where all parties involved knew each other.
It happened shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday when the vehicle drove toward pedestrians, striking the teen, police said.
The girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Brandon Finley, 23, of Lindsay, who police say was the driver, was charged with dangerous driving, assault with a weapon and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. Heather Harding, 21, of Lindsay, who police say was a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with assault with a weapon.
Both were held for a bail hearing in Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay.
