Province's commitment to environment important to business owner

I realize with today’s changing economy, Ontario’s government is working to find a way for creating a sustainable future for the province through strengthening the economy, environment and society.

I am writing to express my support for the non-partisan monitoring of Ontario’s Environmental Bill of Rights carried out by the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario office. As a business owner, Ontario’s commitment to protecting the environment is beneficial for my business as it shows the commitment of my company toward a better future which connects with the customer. In doing so, protecting the environment helps increase the economic gain for the sale of my products and sets Ontario-based businesses apart from international competitors.

Therefore, working to support our shared environment will make us more competitive for economic gains and create a positive legacy for future generations to aspire too.

I hope this inspires businesses to take the lead for protecting the environment to continue to demonstrate Ontario’s commitment to being an economy designed for a more sustainable future.
