HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY SEASON OPENS
Holy Cross Hurricanes’ Caleb Drimmie attempts to score on Cobourg Collegiate Wolves’ goalie Nate Cullen during first period of opening day of Kawartha High School Hockey League on Tuesday at the Kinsmen Civic Centre. Cobourg won 5-1. Avery Cook scored twice for Cobourg and Joe Minnini had a goal and two assists. Ryland Upton and Kyle Pope also scored for the Wolves. Trevor DeLong, Zac Lavergne, Dryden Minnifie and Tiger Trapper also had assists.
