Major Peewees win pair

The Peterborough Billy Smith Major Peewee AAA Petes won a pair of ETA weekend games.

The Petes beat the West Division’s first-place York-Simcoe Express 3-1. Goals were scored by Finley Watson, Sam Corcoran and Brayden D’Innocenzo Assists went to Joel Kosobucki, Colby Wood, Rowan Stewart and Ethan Toms. Glen McInnes played well in net.

The Petes also beat the Oshawa Generals 2-1. Toms and Wood scored assisted by Joshua Brady with two and Toms one. Standing tall in net was Gavin Hill.

They host Oshawa at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evinrude Centre.
