SKILLS ANALYSIS CLINIC
The Peterborough Curling Club hosted a free skills analysis clinic Saturday for club members with one to five years of experience. Three certified instructors from the Kawartha CurlON clinic team — Dennis St. Jacques, Dianne Harris and Bob Quinn — provided on-ice and off-ice training. Curl Ontario is the governing body for curling in Ontario. PCC qualified for two free clinics. The second clinic — video analysis — will be held Dec. 15. Above, Dave Rayment is shown by instructor Bob Quinn, from the Bobcaygeon Curling Club, the proper method to hold the rock before he starts his delivery. Right, instructor Dianne Harris (right), from the Ennismore Curling Club, explains how to deliver a curling rock with a stick delivery device to Beverly Bradbury (Peterborough Curling Club). Shirley Watt (background) listens as she waits for her turn.
