Deer shot illegally near Coe Hill
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is investigating the shooting of two deer on Lower Faraday Road near Coe Hill, northeast of Apsley.
Conservation officers say the deer were on private property on Nov. 13 when someone shot them from the road. An investigation determined that two people had then dragged the deer back to the road, loaded them in a vehicle and drove north.
Anyone with information about this is asked to call the ministry’s TIPS line at 1-877-847-7667 toll-free any time or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-2228477.
