Small traded to Bandits

High scoring Corey Small will be joining a number of his fellow MSL Peterborough Lakers teammates in suiting up over the winter with the National Lacrosse League’s Buffalo Bandits.

The Vancouver Warriors traded Small, a conditional secondround pick in the 2020 NLL draft and a conditional second-round pick in the 2022 NLL draft Wednesday in exchange for forward Mitch Jones, a conditional second-round pick in the 2020 NLL draft and a conditional second-round pick in the 2022 NLL draft.

The deal is pending league approval.

Small, 31, a St. Catharines native, joins the Bandits after spending the previous four seasons with Vancouver.
