Mrs. Doubtfire cast reunites 25 years later

The “Mrs. Doubtfire” cast has reunited. Lisa Jakub (who played young Lydia Hillard in the 1993 family comedy) sat down with former co-stars Pierce Brosnan (Stu), Matthew Lawrence (Chris Hillard) and Mara Wilson (Natalie Hillard) for an interview with TODAY Wednesday, and it almost felt like a family reunion to fans of the film. Though it’s been 25 years since the actors were all in one room together, Jakub says “there is a sense that no time has passed,” adding “it’s a bit of a time warp.” The stars were also quick to reminisce about the film’s main star, the late Robin Williams, saying it was hard to keep their composure around his ad-libbing humour. “We did a lot of takes,” Wilson said. “It’d be like take 25 and Robin would be different every time.”
