Bobcat stolen in Trent Lakes

An excavator valued at $35,000 was stolen from Bass Lake Road in Trent Lakes on Sept. 19, Peterborough County OPP said Friday.

The red and black Bobcat 430 Mini was hauled away at night, investigators believe.

A red pickup truck with silver trim towing a flatbed trailer was seen in the area at the time of the theft, police said. It happened about 55 kilometres north of Peterborough. Police did not provide a more specific location of the theft.
