Santa Shuffle run today

The annual Santa Shuffle run will head out in chilly conditions Saturday morning in the city. Peterborough’s run is co-sponsored by The Salvation Army and The Running Room.

The family-oriented 5K Fun Run and 1K Elf Walk donates funds raised through entry fees and the pledge support of participants to the Salvation Army for Christmas toy and hamper programs. The race is set to start at 10 a.m. at the Auburn Bible Chapel at 911 Armour Rd. N. Race kit pickup continues from 8 to 10 a.m. at the church.

It is open for young and old regardless of level of experience.
