Lab confirms case of flu

Peterborough Public Health is reporting the first local lab-confirmed case of seasonal influenza in the area.

The test revealed influenza A, states Dr. Rosana Salvaterra in a press release. She recommends getting the flu shot, which protects against both the A and B strains of flu.
