Two charged after drug unit searches home
City police have charged two men after searching a Burnham
Street home Thursday.
Members of the ICAD (Intelligence, Crime Analyst, Asset Forfeiture and Drug) unit and the Emergency Response Team used a warrant to search the multiunit residence.
Police seized 156 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of fentanyl/heroin mix (purple heroin) and more than $5,000 in Canadian currency Darcy Neva Davis, 31, of Burnham Street, was charged with the possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin), possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl) and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Taun Conroy Dixon-Johnson, 27, of no fixed address, Peterborough, was charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (heroin), possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and three counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.
