Fleming falls to George Brown in volleyball action

The Fleming Knights men’s volleyball team lost a tough five-set match against the George Brown Huskies in OCAA play Thursday night at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre.

The Huskies prevailed by scores of 25-17, 25-20, 14-25, 21-25, 25-10. Spencer Bieri led Fleming with 12 kills while Joel Howes had seven kills and three aces and Nick Bride had four kills. In women’s action, the Huskies swept Fleming 3-0 by scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-17. Fleming’s Julia Reynolds had three kills and an ace and Sarah Heffernan had two kills.
