Loescher keeps main event streak intact

The Venue has been a welcoming venue for Kawartha Combat’s Matt Loescher.

Loescher kept a string of main event victories intact at the Fall Brawl 4 Muay Thai kickboxing card at The Venue on Friday night.

Loescher won by second round technical knockout over RAD Kickboxing’s Dan Ireland in the show’s night cap at 175 pounds.

KC’s Mackenzie Berardi won a decision over MAS Thaiboxing’s Adam Kramp also in a 175-pound adult male contest.

KC’s David Bowen decisioned RAD’s Kelvin Crause in a 155pound adult male bout.

In her Muay Thai debut, KC’s Julia Bakker battled to a draw with RAD’s Patrina Brooks in a 135-pound adult women’s contest.

The card started with an entertaini­ng bout involving nine-yearold males at 65 pounds with provincial champion Dominick DiFalco, of World Championsh­ip Martial Arts, beat KC’s Tyler Wannamaker by decision.

Lindsay’s Gwen Beukeboom, of Big Country MMA, defeated Elizabeth Irwin of The One Muay Thai & Fitness in a 135-pound adult female match.

Hunter Snider of Loyalist Martial Arts Academy and Adam Khalib of MAS fought to a draw in a 130-pound teen male fight.
