First win for Mustangs

The Crestwood Mustangs earned their first win of the season by defeating the Norwood District Knights 9-4 in Kawarthas high school boys hockey action Wednesday.

Eric Pilgram had two goals and two assists for the Mustangs, while Aaron Bradshaw also had two goals.

Tanner Barbeau had a goal and two assists, while Ty Harris and Sam Mason each had a goal and an assist for Crestwood.

Kolby Scott and Fergus Scott also scored for the Mustangs.

Evan Downer had three assists and Brady Sage had two assists for Crestwood. Fergus Winn also assisted.

Norwood had goals from Silas Hubert assisted by Owen Hubert, Evan Smockum from Evan Wood and Owen Hubert, Jack Wilson from Spencer Krabbe and Austin Murray from David Stewart and Wilson.
