Calder has hat trick in Saints win over Griffins

The St. Peter Saints trounced the Thomas A. Stewart Griffins 9-1 in Kawartha high school boys hockey action on Thursday.

Brad Calder had a hat trick for the Saints, Evan Brault had two goals and an assist and Charlie Kangas also had two goals. Holden Lowes had a goal and an assists and Brendan Koch also scored for St. Peter.

Kiam McCullough had two assists for the Saints, while Aaron Park, Liam McCarthy, Dave Matzke and Shane Abrams also had assists.

Steve Pillar had the lone TASSS goal from Ty Wesenberg and Liam Tombs.

Heath Lemming had the win in the Saints net.

St. Peter improves to 3-0-1 while TASSS falls to 1-3-1.
