Crestwood, Norwood both jolted by St. Mary Thunder

The Cobourg St. Mary Thunder swept a doubleheader Friday in Kawartha boys high school hockey action, trouncing the Norwood District Knights 11-1 and beating the Crestwood Mustangs 8-2. Crestwood had goals by Fergus Winn from Carson Booth and Eric Smith from Aaron Bradshaw.

In the Norwood game, Jacob Tinney and McKewan King each had two goals and an assist for St. Mary, while Colyn Swan, McKewan King, Connor MacGregor, Paddy Massey, Dawson Williams, Connor Vivian, Tyler George and Ike Kelly also scored.

In the Crestwood game, Tinney had a hat trick and an assist to lead the Thunder attack. Curtis Mullin, Drew Clapperton, Austin Gilour, Kelly and Vivian also had goals for St. Mary.
