Mischief charge laid

City police have charged a local man and woman after a domestic incident.

Police were contacted Sunday in connection with an incident alleged to have happened the night before, involving two people bound by court conditions to avoid contact with each other. A 27-year-old man was charged with domestic assault, mischief under $5,000 for damage to a door, and failing to comply with conditions. A 32-year-old woman was charged with failing to comply with the conditions of an undertaking. She was released and is to appear in court Jan. 22. Their names were not released by city police because the incident is domestic in nature.
